Clients who apply for benefits
When someone applies for a disability benefit, they can ask for help by requesting that Health & Social Security gather supporting health information that proves their entitlement. This information maybe from the GP or other health or social care professionals. This is a new new approach to the existing DWP process. · Forms will be tailored to the individual client’s case and sent securely to the GP Practice by the Health & Social Security Department.
This removes the need for clients/patients to gather evidence themselves and approach the GP directly for information to support their application.
