IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PATIENTS – SERVICE DISRUPTION IN SEPTEMBER
Our clinical system will change during September. All Practices across Scotland must change their system, the current system is no longer fit for purpose.
From Wednesday 16th September our usual service will be suspended as we will have limited and at times no access to your medical records.
An on the day urgent care service for periods of time will be in operation. Urgent care should be requested by phone (not by email) and will be triaged.
Please note from 6pm on the 15th September until 8.30am on 30th September the issuing of regular prescription issues will be suspended regardless of the route to order. Please be aware the local pharmacies will be extremely busy due to the increase in demand for prescriptions leading up to and during this time – please allow at least 72 hours for prescription collection. Controlled drug orders will be managed so no need to worry. Please order your regular medications early
- We will be unable to book future appointments. Booking of appointments will be suspended from 16th September
- We will be unable to do non-emergency, routine bloods
- We will not receive any electronic secondary care communication (e.g. hospital/clinic letters)
- We will not receive any results (bloods, scans, swabs, urine)
- We will not be able to provide copies of medical records
- We will not be able to produce private medical reports
- We will be unable to register new patients
Please use Right Care Right Place where possible and appropriate, Pharmacy First Service, Dentist, Optician, self care advice and symptom checker at http://www.nhsinform.scot

BE PATIENT, BE KIND Our Team are working tirelessly to deliver care, we thank you for your patience and support. The Team are here to help but sadly, they continue to endure abuse from a small minority. Violence and aggression will not be tolerated and will not speed up anyone’s care or get you seen face to face with a GP if that is not appropriate.
